Make conference insights useful for everyone who wasn't in the room.

We're changing how events are being captured and shared.

Conferences, trade shows, and stakeholder tours are a big investment for businesses and they usually produce really valuable conversations for your whole team. But your investment isn't getting good returns if it all gets forgotten on the plane home.

Most conferences follow the same shape. You turn up, you sit through awesome panels and keynotes, you nod along to all the good ideas and you can't wait to put them into action. Two weeks later you're back at your desk and most of it has evaporated.

Contented is changing that. Across the last few months we've been on the ground at events ranging from construction forums to UN Global Compact events, recording sessions, panels and interviews, then turning them into something practical everyone can use once they're back at work.

Co-founder Hannah Hardy-Jones puts it like this:

"It's not just like it ends at the end of the conference. It's actually about what are you going to do with that information and transform the way that you work. Contented is allowing events to actually capture all of those incredible words and speaker sessions and panels and mini interviews, insights from the organisers, and create something really, really practical for the attendees to take back into their workplaces. We're super excited to be part of this change in how events are being captured."

Here's what that's looked like in practice.

Foundations and Frontiers 2026.

The Australian Constructors Association's national construction forum, Foundations and Frontiers (FF26), was no ordinary conference. This year's theme was "Smarter stronger together," and the format was built to get the whole room involved, including a construction great debate.

We were there to support the FF26 team, recording the discussions and turning them into insights and white papers for the sector. Hannah and APAC business lead Anna Darragh represented Contented on site. There was so much interest in Contented and we heard there's a huge need for effective conversation capture across the whole industry.

UN Global Compact Network.

Contented supported the UN Global Compact Network Sri Lanka's Forward Faster Now APAC 2026 conference in Colombo, bringing together business leaders, sustainability experts and changemakers to strengthen partnerships and accelerate action on the UN Global Compact's 10 principles and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The team in Colombo recorded speaker sessions, panel discussions and interviews across the two days, so the insights from the room didn't stay in the room. Being part of that, all the way from Christchurch, was such a proud moment for our small team. As Hannah has said before, we've always wanted Contented to be part of the world's most important conversations, and this was a clear example of that ambition in practice.

We also recorded the UN Global Compact Network Australia's UNiting Business LIVE Australia 2026, which brought together international and Australian leaders across CEO panels, fireside chats and keynotes. Contented was a partner for the event, with the UN team using our platform to record every session, then turn each one into key takeaways, quotes, metrics and insights, to share and feed into reports. Co-founder Hannah Hardy-Jones and Regional business lead Lexi Eddington-Smith got to be part of the engine room making it happen.

Revved 2026.

Revved brought together 800 people across workshops, panels and keynotes on making decisions at speed, using technology while keeping communities at the centre, and leading with clarity when uncertainty is the only constant. As the event's content partner, we recorded the whole day.

Anna Darragh and regional business lead Lexi Eddington-Smith ran recording throughout the day, feeding everything into a shared workspace for the Revved team to pull out key insights, quotes and takeaways.

Changing how all the value from events is captured.

Across these very different events - the outcome is the same. All of the incredible sessions, knowledge and ideas are captured and saved as a record for those who were there to keep using and sharing long after they're finished.

Christchurch International Airport Ltd is a great example of putting Contented to work at events and on business trips. During a 12-day tour across five cities across the globe, the commercial and technology team debriefed stakeholder meetings and airport visits over dinner, and recorded using the Contented app. Those conversations became a searchable, structured knowledge base that still gets pulled up over a year later.

We've got more events on the calendar, including a significant one in the US, and we're looking forward to doing more of exactly this.
