From leadership to parent meetings to careers advice, this school is Contented.

Education should be about young people, not paperwork.
School meetings have never been about paperwork. They're about people: a student working out what comes next with a careers adviser, a parent wanting to know how their child is doing, the board debating the school's long-term strategy. Every one of those conversations shapes outcomes for the young people at the centre of the school community.
St Andrew's College, a leading independent, co-educational school with 1700 students from Pre-school through to Year 13, uses Contented across the organisation to capture those key conversations and, importantly, the outcomes from them.
From leadership meetings and staff appraisals to parent interviews, events and student career sessions, Contented ensures records are accurately kept and shared, while those in the room can focus on why they’re there in the first place: connection and action.
Careers Adviser Richard Webster sees this most directly. His days are filled with one-on-one meetings with students, often with a parent in the room too. Many are off the cuff, grabbing a chat when the moment suits. With Contented, each conversation is recorded, and a clear, professional summary is ready moments later for Richard to forward directly to the student, their caregiver, or the relevant Dean. Consent is built into how appointments are booked.
"The quality of the output to parents, students and teachers is very professional." says Richard.
"Contented brings efficiency and time saving, but it has also improved the quality of records and action points."
The tool is used in St Andrew's to record pastoral conversations and work through issues with individual students. Follow-up notes are securely shared so nothing gets missed, and the focus stays on the student rather than the notebook.
One of the school’s strengths is positive relationships between students and teachers, centred on learning. With Contented, educators can keep their focus on that objective. Staff describe feeling more present in conversations, knowing the record is taken care of.

The whole school is Contented
What started as a productivity tool for leadership meetings has organically spread across St Andrew’s College: in operations, people management, communications, student well-being, planning, and the everyday conversations that keep the school running.
Leadership
Board and executive meetings are captured accurately, with structured meeting minutes, decisions and action points ready straight after. Contented is used for one-on-ones, staff appraisals, team meetings and project meetings. The ICT team turns fast-moving discussions about systems and roadmaps into documentation everyone can build on.
Recruitment
Interviews are recorded and consolidated instead of relying on handwritten notes and memory. A recruitment panel can compare candidates' answers side by side and use the human-centred module to draw out themes.
Career guidance
Personal student conversations are rarely formulaic. Contented turns each one into a consistent, accurate record, building into structured guidance notes for students over time. Advisers can stay focused on the conversation itself rather than what needs writing down afterwards.
